🫶 Hey there! Did you know that May is not just about spring blossoms and warmer days? It's also Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to prioritize our well-being in the midst of life's hustle and bustle.
🤷♀️ Let's face it—we all understand how crucial our mental health is, but we often forget to give it the attention it deserves, especially when work takes center stage. But fear not, because this month, I've got some fabulous suggestions to help you revitalize your mind and soul:
I. ☀️ First things first: don't let remote work keep you away from the glorious sun.
Take a break, step outside, and indulge in a walk. Bask in the sunshine, soak up that vitamin D, and watch your mood soar high above the clouds. Maybe not this much, but one can dream 😊.
II. 💻 Now, here's a little secret: modern productivity doesn't have to crush your spirit.
If your current work situation is dragging you down, click on that little briefcase icon right up there on LinkedIn. You know which one… It's life-saving to explore new opportunities that respect your boundaries and bring you peace. Dare to dream and embark on a path that nourishes both your professional and mental well-being.
III. 🤼 While work is important, let's not forget the magic of friendship.
Our work besties are incredible, but it's equally vital to nurture connections beyond the office walls. So, go ahead and reach out to your friends, set up coffee dates, or simply run errands together. These relationships can be a lifeline, offering support, laughter, and a sense of belonging that extends far beyond the workweek.
IV. 🌊 Now, close your eyes and imagine this: taking a day off not because you have to take care of an expired ID or a last minute emergency...
Yes, it's possible! Treat yourself to a mental health day whenever you need it. Give yourself permission to pause, catch your breath, and recharge. Rest matters and should be celebrated.

⛅ Speaking from experience, a few years ago, I underwent a transformative journey where I reshaped my entire approach to life, prioritizing my mental health and overall well-being. It is far from an easy journey, but every day is a new opportunity to try again and keep improving myself. I am a work in progress, sometimes making big progress, and sometimes experiencing setbacks. It's not perfect but my number one priority is Mental Health over everything else.
🫵 I can only encourage you to choose YOURSELF all day, every day!
It's never too late to take care of your mental health, and this May, I hope you find a moment to reflect on what truly matters to you. Do not forget that there is always tomorrow to try again and to let go of what no longer serves you.
If these words resonate with you, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
🌼 Wishing you a sensational month of May filled with self-care, growth, and a renewed zest for life!
