PK REVIEW: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
It’s a deeply personal movie but at the same time very universal to the ones who are able to relate to the stories. Many subjects are brought to light in this movie. There is this idea that some immigrants have betrayed their home country by leaving and living the other side’s lifestyle. "La Malinche" is mentioned as an insult because she was the woman who contributed to the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire, by acting as an interpreter. Some parts are about the modern disaster that journalism has become with pseudo journalists being mind parasites. So many issues are tackled in this movie where the absurd is not so absurd anymore. The inequalities and the injustices are so part of our daily lives that we became used to them. We blinded ourselves so much that sometimes we even make the unthinkable a reality, with no resistance. That's scary.
